We managed to sneak a cake into the hospital (cutting timing very fine with 10 minutes to spare before the end of visiting hours) since it was also Kat's 16th birthday that day. Open your eyes Kat! This was the only picture I got of you with the cake before my memory card filled up! Mmmm..Chinese style Blackforest cake....[Bon was oh so very sly when buying the cake for Kat:

Gu also reported that upon seeing Justin for the first time, newly appointed Big Sister Nicky (that's her in the red in the second picture), turned to Gu and exclaimed, "OoooOOO! I've never had one of THESE before!"
That comment had Kat, Bon and me breaking out into fits of laughter for the next several minutes. Awww...so cute! So sweet! Well Nicky, you better treasure this one since I doubt you'll have another 'one of these' for awhile.
