rediscovering her lost inner child (1,2,3,4...HI FIVE!)

My little cousin Nicky had her birthday party today (she's thwee now and so adorable) at a playhouse in Hurstville. Feeling out of place with the adults, I joined the kids in the "Disco Room" and have discovered a liking for Hi-Five songs. Do those guys know how to rhyme or what!

I also felt strangely saddened that there weren't enough balls in the ball pen area to be able to properly get that satisfying floating feel. (I was joined in my sadness by Kat (age 15) who also felt quite put out)

Wonder if this says anything about my personality. (Pseudo psycho-analysis below)

This is obviously an indication of a backlash of primitive feelings that have been suppressed during the critical development period due to a harsh social and/or emotional environment that has not allowed this person to understand the morals of society and thus move forward in social development and learn to adequately function as an adult. She is in essence, an adult with a child-like mind.

Ha, take that Dr Phil!

In other news, my blog has been terribly violated by comment spam. (See post below) Damn you comment spammer! How dare you target the young and innocent!
